Every time Bad Bunny goes on tour, he tops Billboard’s monthly Top Tours chart – and now, he’s done it for a record eighth time with the first reports from his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour. The monthly charts launched in 2019.

On 2022’s El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo, he led in back-to-back months with sold-out arena shows. Later that year, he returned for two more months on the stadium upgrade, World’s Hottest Tour. When the Most Wanted Tour cruised through American arenas in the spring of 2024, he pulled off a then-unprecedented hat-trick in March, April, and May. And now, he’s back on top with the first reports from Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour.

The trek began on Nov. 21-22 with just two shows in Santo Domingo. In December, Bad Bunny kicked into full gear with eight dates, split between a pair in San Jose, Costa Rica, and six in Mexico City. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, those December shows grossed $99.1 million and sold 633,000 tickets, making him the highest-grossing and best-selling touring act of the month.

Previously, Bad Bunny was tied with Beyoncé, Coldplay and Elton John for the most time atop the tally since its 2019 launch, each at seven months. With his December win, he pulls ahead with a new record of eight, with many months ahead to extend before the tour wraps in July.

Barely below the $100-million-mark, Bad Bunny’s $99.1 million is the 10th highest monthly gross in the chart’s seven-year history. He has one other top 10 appearance, after becoming the first artist to report a nine-figure month with $123.7 million in September 2022.

Both of Bad Bunny’s December stops were record-breaking, setting new highs for the highest gross and attendance at each stadium – Estadio Nacional in San Jose, Costa Rica on Dec. 5-6, and Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on Dec. 10-12, 15-16, and 19-21. The latter run brought in $86.7 million and sold 518,000 tickets, easily clearing the top spot on December’s Top Boxscores ranking with more than three times the take of the runner up.

Bad Bunny picked back up on Jan. 9 in Santiago, Chile, and continues in South America through Feb. 21. Then, it’s off to Australia, Japan, and a 29-show run across Europe. The length and scale are groundbreaking for a world tour by an artist who doesn’t perform in English, likely to consistently reappear on the monthly Boxscore charts before the final show in Brussels on July 22.

Not only does Bad Bunny break out of a long-standing tie with Beyoncé, Coldplay and Elton John, but he also ends an annual streak for another act. Until now, every December recap was dominated by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, starting in 2019 and running through 2024. The perennial holiday ensemble’s dual touring bands – one for the eastern half of the United States and another simultaneously touring the west – have reliably led the Top Tours chart, until now.

TSO remains December’s most productive touring act. The grand total was 66 shows over 31 days, sometimes completing four performances in a single day via matinee and evening events by each of its ensembles. Altogether, they banked $40 million in ticket sales to combined crowds of 511,000 fans.

Including its November dates, TSO grossed $59.1 million and sold 751,000 tickets over 106 shows in 2025. Dating back to its first tour in 1999, the collective has reported more than $940 million and 16.5 million tickets across over 2,100 shows.

Not only does TSO relinquish the No. 1 spot, it dips to No. 3. In between Bad Bunny and the Christmas favorites is Lady Gaga, capping a major year of touring in stadiums in Australia. She is No. 2 with $60.7 million and 319,000 tickets sold.

Gaga played a brief sweep of five shows down under: two in Melbourne (Dec. 5-6), one in Brisbane (Dec. 9) and two in Sydney (Dec. 12-13). Sydney was the standout with $27.5 million, outpacing Melbourne’s double-header ($23.3 million) by 18%. Including Brisbane’s $9.9 million, all three of her December stops appear on Top Boxscores, with the two back-to-backs rubbing up at Nos. 2-3.

Including pre-tour stops in Mexico City and Singapore, Gaga closed out 2025 with $286.1 million and 1.4 million tickets sold, before considering the estimated 2-million-plus count of Brazilian fans at her free show in Rio de Janeiro. The Mayhem Ball continues with shows in Japan and another leg in the U.S. and Canada.

TSO’s No. 3 rank is more indicative of unusually strong competition in December than a decline in demand. While grosses typically trail off toward the end of the year as cold temperatures restrict stadium shows in North America and Europe, Bad Bunny and Gaga post all-time high grosses for the month via stadium plays in Latin America and Australia, respectively.

Bad Bunny’s $99.1 million finish, previously noted as one of the 10 highest monthly grosses ever, is an outlier for its winter setting. The other nine, each of which are higher than $100 million, occurred between May and September, all in stadiums in North America or Europe. Not only is Bad Bunny’s the highest ever for December, but it is also the biggest one-month gross for a Latin American tour.

This month’s top 30 tours collectively grossed $493 million, up 36% from last year and registering the biggest December since the monthly lists started. It’s not just a matter of inflation, as December attendance hits a parallel high at 4 million tickets among the top 30 tours.
